TubeSpin® bioreactors have demonstrated their advantages in the screening and optimization of suspension cells. The optimization of the cultivation process can be performed from 15 ml, allowing for many parallel experiments. The filter screw cap has small openings over the gas-permeable, sterile PTFE filter. A sterile gas exchange is guaranteed with a 0.22 μm filter membrane. If evaporation during incubation is too high, one or more of these holes can be covered. The tubes fit into a standard centrifuge rotor.
